Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is a process in which a licensed mental health professional provides guidance and mentorship to another professional who is working with clients. This process can help ensure that clients receive high-quality care, as the supervisee is able to consult with the supervisor about complex cases.
We have created an open learning environment for associate level licensees for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHCA) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSWA) to allow for professional development, clinical consultation, coaching, mentoring, exploring case studies, technical assistance, and reflective supervision.
During supervision, many areas and concerns will be discussed. We will explore your passion for counseling to develop dynamic and effective counseling skills. Sessions will explore and enhance your ability to provide clinical counseling services to clients as well as gain a firm understanding of client rights when it comes to delivering person-centered treatment. Supervision will allow for discussion surrounding career exploration within the counseling field and overall personal development.
Clinical supervision is an invaluable tool for ensuring quality patient care. By providing a forum for discussion and collaboration between healthcare professionals, clinical supervision can help identify and resolve potential problems before they result in any negative consequences. In addition, clinical supervision can help foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, making it more likely that errors will be detected and corrected.
Ultimately, clinical supervision is an essential ingredient in the recipe for progressive clinical performance and quality patient care.
