I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) in the state of North Carolina with over 5 years of experience working amongst the mental health and substance use populations. I have experience working with those diagnosed with anxiety, mood, and personality disorders experiencing a wide range of concerns related to self-esteem, relationships, family dynamics, work, addiction, race and identity, aging, diet and nutrition, sleep, women issues, and stress management.
My therapeutic style is empathetic, mindful and client centered, yet transparent and direct, as appropriate. I operate from a strength-based perspective, specializing in cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, person-centered, and talk therapy interventions.
Over the years, I have learned one of the best ways to overcome life’s challenges is by building strength and resilience through implementing healthy coping strategies, structure, and routine. My goal is to empower clients to believe in themselves and their abilities to create lasting change. In the words of the late Maya Angelou, “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated.”
It takes bravery to seek help and courage to implement change, but with the help of a licensed professional you don’t have to go at it alone. If you are ready to take the next steps to begin living a fulfilling and self-empowered lifestyle, reach out, as I would love to help guide you along the way.

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in the state of North Carolina with years of experience in mental health, substance use and applied behavior analysis. I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, schizoaffective, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. I have also worked with individuals who have intellectual disabilities, ADHD/ADD and autism. I have been able to help these individuals with low self-esteem, stress management, work to improve social life balance, family dynamics, relationships and daily life obstacles.
My therapeutic approaches include strength based, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I believe in a person-centered approach when working with my clients. Honesty is very important and it is a virtue I enjoy having within therapeutic relationships.
My goal is to listen, encourage and empower each client that I work with. We all have different walks in life but what matters most is how we end it. We all have the capability to overcome life obstacles or daily struggles. Sometimes, you just need that extra support without any judgement. It takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help during times when you feel you’re at your lowest. If willing, I would love to be there for you and uplift you as we figure it out together.
